About Ceferd…
The Center for Family Health Research and Development (CEFERD) is a Public Benefit organization conducting scientific research and dedicated to advancing healthcare through innovative clinical trials and epidemiological studies. With a focus on infectious diseases, vaccine trials, maternal and child health, and, non-communicable diseases, the organization has a proven track record of conducting high-quality research that has contributed significantly to the field of medicine. Previous studies conducted by CEFERD include: the SOUND study (Norvatis), the DiffCov study (The Gates Foundation), The ARS study (The Gates Foundation), TPT Study (Firland Foundation), Neurocognitive study (Swarthmore College, USA) POCUS study (Edan International Inc). These studies have provided valuable insights into the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various diseases and have helped to improve health outcomes for populations in Kenya and beyond.
